CampusWorks/Alliance for Innovation and Transformation (AFIT) – Happy Campus Joint Reception
Let’s celebrate everything you do for your community college. Please drop by our Happy Campus Joint Reception with AFIT. Not a CampusWorks client or AFIT member? No problem, we'd love to meet you. Happiness starts here!
What’s standing in YOUR institution’s way of realizing its vision? Community Colleges today continue to help a wildly diverse student population reach their full potential. But if the college is beleaguered, is that level of student success even possible? The ‘great resignation’ has taken an unimaginable toll on human capital and campus efficiency. In addition, most institutions are encumbered by technology that meets the daily operational needs – but isn’t optimized to achieve strategic initiatives.
Come hear your peers talk about the talent, tools, resources and sustainable solutions they are using to get back on track and stay there. Reaching your goals, realizing your vision, and creating a happy campus shouldn’t be abstract concepts in some far-off future. So again, when the question is, “what’s really standing in the way of reaching your full potential?” Let’s talk about how to turn the great resignation into YOUR great opportunity!

How the Pandemic Ignited our Need for Transformation to Support our Campus
Arizona Western College was challenged with many technology infrastructure issues, including; recruiting and retaining key talent, remediating a security audit, and the overall need for a strategic technology vision and plan. The pandemic compounded these existing difficulties with the addition of an increased need to support remote learning for faculty and students. AWC completed a rapid but thorough technology assessment, and armed with the assessment data and recommendations, outlined a 90-day action plan, which included the launch of a 24/7 Help Desk to support staff, faculty and students.

Why it Takes a Village. Removing Pandemic Barriers to Enrollment Growth
Aims Community College enjoyed steadily growing enrollment for many years. The pandemic required a tight focus on how to recover enrollment and included exercises with faculty, staff and students to find new creative ways to regain that enrollment growth. Let's talk about some of the approaches that helped us see our Fall 2022 enrollment now 1% above pre-pandemic numbers in both headcount and FTE and ready to continue climbing.

Trustee Orientation to Modern Technology - Workshop
Technology decisions and their related investments permeate board agendas. Many trustees are uncomfortable making these expensive decisions as IT is not in their field of expertise. Dr. Tuesday Stanley, President of Westmoreland County Community College, and Liz Murphy, CEO and Chairman of CampusWorks, will team up to reveal what you really need to know to make confident technology decisions in the board room. Bring your questions, and they’ll bring their experience successfully navigating the complexities of IT when you’re not a technologist.
